N to-inf

v-link adj N to-inf

The noun is preceded by a link verb and an adjective. The meaning depends on the adjective. This pattern is productive: any noun with a fairly general meaning can be used with this pattern.

Note that the to-infinitive clause after place very often does not end with the preposition in, although it is logically expected.

Note that nouns such as time and moment also have this pattern.
