The 'keen' group

These adjectives indicate that someone wants something to happen or is happy about something happening. We include here reluctant and unwilling, which indicate that someone does not want something to happen.
They said they were happy for me to make my own arrangements.
He's keen for me to move into his house as soon as possible.

    These adjectives indicate that someone is ready for something to happen. The person or thing indicated by the noun phrase following for may be the understood Subject or Object of the to-infinitive clause.
    I feel now that at least as far as the house goes we're ready for the baby to arrive.
