The 'lacking' group

These adjectives indicate that something is missing.
In most cases, the noun group following the preposition in indicates the thing that is missing, and the Subject indicates the person or thing that needs something.
There's a need for people to teach literacy and numeracy to kids who are deficient in those skills.
