Pattern 10: ADJ enough for n to-inf

The adjective is followed by enough, a prepositional phrase which consists of for and a noun group, and a to-infinitive clause.
Sometimes the words after enough indicate an event that is possible.
The water west of them is calm enough for salmon hatcheries to have been established there.
Sometimes they indicate what can be done by someone with the person or thing already referred to.
The barbed wire was so closely woven that no space was big enough for a man to get his head through without damaging himself.
The industry never reached the mass-production level which would have made the planes cheap enough for people to buy.
