The 'careful' group

These adjectives indicate that someone is careful or careless about something they do or with respect to a particular situation.
To help prevent infection, be extra careful about personal hygiene.
Janet could not afford to be cavalier about money, but she knew she could pay the rent and still afford the luxuries she enjoyed.
His letters do not pay attention to detail and can also be rather sloppy about presentation.
The preposition about is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
Be particularly fastidious about washing your hands before touching food.
