The 'guilty' group

These adjectives indicate that someone feels grateful or sorry for something.
I hugged her afterward and told her I was sorry for all that had happened.
The preposition for is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
We are grateful for being alerted to the problem and are correcting the accounts.
Guilty always occurs with the verb feel.
I felt guilty for disturbing his solitude.
