The 'lucky' group

These adjectives indicate that someone is judged to be lucky or unlucky in something that they do or in something that happens.
A friend has reminded me of an old saying - something about people who are unlucky in love being lucky at cards.
The preposition in is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
I've not been very lucky in buying good children's clothes.
