The 'despondent' group

These adjectives indicate that someone is unhappy about a situation.
Barlowe was said to be despondent over the rise of right-wing extremism.
The preposition over is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
Police say they believe the gunman was angry at the government and distraught over being denied a student loan.
