The 'anxious' group

These adjectives indicate how someone feels about something that may happen or may be the case. The that-clause often contains a modal verb.
The government is anxious that the hostages should be released.
He is also keen that people of all ages have a chance to educate themselves.
Doctors were optimistic that he would make a full recovery.
He said the people are terrified that at any moment they may be killed.
I am five foot four inches tall and my fiancé is six foot three. I am worried that if he wears a top hat he will look enormous next to me.
