Graded and ungraded adjectives

Pattern 11: ADJ enough that

The adjective is followed by enough and a that-clause. This pattern is less frequent than ADJ enough to-inf (see Pattern 8 above). The that-clause indicates a consequence.
It's cold enough that some of those showers will turn to snow at times on the tops of the higher hills.
The captain was frightened enough that he took the route of least resistance.
The President had reservations - not strong enough to make him stop, just strong enough that he needed to be prodded on a regular basis.
