The 'above' group

These nouns are used to refer to something that has already been said or written, or to something that will be said or written.
About three-quarters of the land is farmland, 10 per cent is occupied by towns and villages, 9 per cent by forests, while the remainder consists of roads, railways, recreational areas, and so on. Even in the more urbanized western part of the country, agriculture still occupies more than 60 per cent of the land. From the above it can easily be understood that for a long time rural planning in The Netherlands has been primarily agricultural planning.
