The 'chairman' group

These nouns are used to address someone with a particular job or role in a formal way. They are preceded by Mr (for a man) or Madam (for a woman).
I look forward, Mr Chairman, to this evening's discussion.
Your ruling, Madam Speaker, will have historic importance and will be studied over many centuries.
