The 'pretty' group

These adjectives indicate the appearance, feel, or taste of something or someone. The verb in the to-infinitive clause is something such as look at, touch, or eat. It does not add anything to the meaning of the adjective.
Watches have become less accurate, though more attractive to look at.
These cradles may be beautiful to look at, but they were not made to our current safety standards.
Healthy food can and should be delicious to eat.
Horses are pretty to look at, but I prefer something with a steering wheel and a brake.
