The 'cursed' group

These adjectives indicate that a person or group has something which is either desirable or undesirable. The noun group following with indicates what the person has.
Group Captain Bulman was cursed with a poor memory for names and, during the First World War, he called everyone Colonel or General.
The adjectives blessed and cursed are also used to describe a thing, such as a country or area of land.
Even those regions blessed with rain are still in the grip of a drought.
