The 'fascinating' and 'infuriating' group

These adjectives indicate that something or someone makes someone react in some way, for example with pleasure, hatred, anger, or interest. The noun group following the preposition indicates the person who reacts. This use is productive: a range of adjectives are used in this way. We list below the most frequent.

There is nothing more infuriating to an author than someone who gets the name of his beloved characters or works of art slightly wrong.
