There are a few other verbs which have this structure.
Mrs Mills said yesterday she was honoured to have been appointed.
In the case of trouble, the noun group is always a reflexive pronoun. This pattern is V pron-refl to-inf.In the case of do, the noun group is always an amount. This pattern is V amount to-inf. The verb take often has this pattern as well.
