ADJ after v

The 'unharmed' group

These adjectives indicate that someone or something is not harmed, opposed, or impeded. Unchallenged, unchecked, uncontrolled, unfettered, unhampered, unimpeded, unmarked, and unmolested have only Pattern 1. Whole has only Pattern 2.
The kidnapped assistant was freed unharmed 25 minutes later when police caught up with the getaway car.
On seven minutes he was allowed to cut in unmarked from the left to set up a cross.
He was elected unopposed.
Mr Baker was the man who emerged unscathed from every disaster.
Usually the piranhas swallow their prey whole.
