ADJ -ing

The 'comfortable' group

These adjectives indicate how someone feels when doing something. Awful, awkward, bad, good, guilty, and terrible are only used in this pattern when they follow the verb feel. With feel, this pattern is productive: many adjectives indicating feelings are occasionally used with this pattern.
Are you comfortable delegating authority, or do you believe it is easier to just do it yourself?
I felt good seeing Gideon and Marla again.
This person is strongly affected by the appearance of things and will feel unhappy working or living in unpleasant surroundings.
