The 'payable' group

These adjectives indicate that a sum of money should be paid. The noun group following the preposition on indicates the thing which is the reason that the money is paid, or the situation in which the money is paid.
Full deposits are payable on all reservations.
There is an additional deposit for the wicker basket, which is refundable on return.
Husband and wife are separately taxable on any capital gains that they may make.
