Pattern 26: however ADJ n v-link

The adjective follows however and is followed by a noun group and a link verb. This pattern forms a subordinate clause.
The company has to preserve its small-company flair, however big it gets.
However free opinion is, facts are still sacred, and somebody should be checking them.
However happy I am, there is a constant calculation of calories in my brain.
