The 'easy' and 'difficult' group

These adjectives indicate that doing something is easy or difficult. The adjectives difficult, easy, hard, impossible, and possible are particularly frequent in this pattern.
If you are in a new country it is always difficult to get work; people don't know you and you don't have contacts.
It would be easy to lose heart, but to lose heart would serve no purpose, other than to ruin our lives.
In many cases it is quite possible to alter or extend a house to meet changed needs.
