These adjectives indicate that something is judged to be strange, surprising, or interesting.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the only gospel that survived was Timothy's?
In a world where humans grow old, tadpoles change into frogs, and milk turns into cheese, it would be strange if language alone remained unaltered.
It's such a novelty to have a man choosing to ask my opinion on anything that it's hardly surprising if I get carried away and start tossing out a few home truths!
