The 'argument' group

These nouns refer to arguments or evidence.
Heseltine was the first chap I heard to spell out the case against public schools.
In the case of argument and case, the preposition against is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
The British Government has been given until the beginning of December to put its arguments against proceeding with the case.
