Nouns used in names

The 'Church' group

These nouns are used in the names of religious buildings and institutions. They have Patterns 1 and 2. The exception is Synagogue which only has Pattern 1.
The Church of England must now debate the privileged position it holds with the monarchy, according to the Archbishop of York.
British mosques tend to be built slowly: the Central Mosque in Birmingham took from 1962 to 1975.
One of Jesus's most dramatic acts was to cast out the money changers from the Temple of Jerusalem.
