The 'mood' and 'attitude' group

These nouns refer to someone's general mood, attitudes, or feelings. We include here breast, heart, and heartstrings which are used when talking about someone's feelings.
I find their attitude complacent in the extreme.
What's going on with Dole, however, is not some long-simmering anger bubbling up from his breast.
Her heart ached over the separation from Alex.
I do think the police are trying to change their mindset.
His mood is hardly likely to have been enhanced by this turn of events.
Keep in mind that your reader may not share your values and indeed may even hold opposite ones.
The striking thing about all these works is their identical focus on the father's rather than the mother's viewpoint.
