The 'childhood' group

These nouns refer to a period of time, especially a period of time when someone is a particular age or has a particular role. With some of these nouns, the noun is usually or sometimes followed by an adverb or a prepositional phrase.
She spent her childhood in Mexico and the US and went to art school in Chicago.
He has declared that he wants audiences to behave just as they would have done in Shakespeare's day.
