The 'necessary' group

These adjectives indicate that an action is important, necessary, or unnecessary. They are used with verbs such as make. The adjective necessary is very frequent in this pattern sequence.
Like her father, she was near-sighted, which made it necessary for her to wear glasses.
Imperative, important, necessary, and vital are also used with verbs such as think.
Over 90 per cent of parents think it important for children to play outside.
