The 'apparent' group

These adjectives indicate that something is obvious. They are used with verbs such as make. The adjectives apparent, clear, and plain are very frequently used in this way.
The intense battles made it apparent that the army would not achieve a quick or tidy victory.
The example of Cézanne makes it plain that you must be workmanlike in what you do.
