V n -ing

The verb is followed by a noun group and an '-ing' clause. The passive pattern is be V-ed -ing.This pattern has three structures:
    Structure I: Verb with Object
    I remember you saying that.
    Structure II: Verb with two Objects
    They caught him stealing.
    Structure III: Verb with Object and Adjunct
    I spend the time reading.
