The 'happy' group

These adjectives indicate that someone feels happy or optimistic about a situation.
The hosts, Robin and Sarah Cooper, were cheerful about the seemingly awful mess left in their lovely house.
She was not entirely happy about the civil marriage she and Gary had at her bridegroom's home.
The official acknowledged several problems, but said, 'I'm fairly upbeat about the prospects of resolving them.'
The preposition about is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause, especially in the case of comfortable, confident, happy, optimistic, positive, and proud.
You should also feel confident about expressing your views.
The preposition about is sometimes followed by a noun group and an '-ing' clause. This pattern is ADJ about n -ing.
Mr Raymond said he was not happy about people having to move.
In the case of good, the adjective always follows the verb feel.
