The 'clothed' group

These adjectives indicate that someone is dressed in a particular way.
She was clothed in a red top, grey slacks and shoes.
Recall Jack Lemmon in Some Like It Hot, got up in high heels, wig and feather boa to escape being recognized by Mob hitmen.
The preposition in is sometimes followed by a colour word. This pattern is ADJ in colour.
She was all dressed in white. It was super.

  • This use is productive: other adjectives are sometimes used to indicate that someone looks good in particular clothing, especially the two listed below.
    We saw the great man, resplendent in a white tracksuit, being guided towards a giant birthday cake.
