The 'willing' group

These adjectives indicate that someone wants or is willing to do something.
He is most anxious to avoid appearing weak.
He now seems keen to return to active politics.
Everyone, he reflected, was out to get something for themselves.
We're willing to train youngsters from as young as seven.
Glad, interested and pleased only have this meaning when used with will be or would be, or when used to say what is generally the case.
'Always glad to help the police,' he said.
