The 'accustomed' group

These adjectives indicate that someone is accustomed or unaccustomed to a situation.
The animals here are still so unaccustomed to humans that they have not learned to fear them.
The preposition to is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
We're used to seeing each other all day, every day, and there is a sense of isolation now that we're mainly apart.
The preposition to is sometimes followed by a noun group and an '-ing' clause. This pattern is ADJ to n -ing.
My mail was routinely opened, and I became accustomed to my letters arriving in clumsily re-glued envelopes.
