The 'liable' group

These adjectives indicate that someone or something often does or suffers something or may do or suffer something, usually something bad.
This cream is excellent for persons with oily complexions inclined to blemishes, spots, and pimples.

In the case of doomed, given, open, and prone, the preposition to is sometimes followed by an '-ing' clause.
