In this section we describe adjective patterns which begin with what. These patterns are examples of pseudo-cleft sentences.We include in this section patterns which include a finite or non-finite clause, such as what v-link ADJ v-link that (e.g. What is interesting is that they went unnoticed) and patterns which include a prepositional phrase, such as what v-link ADJ about n v-link n (e.g. What is interesting about this book is its explanation of techniques).The patterns in this section are:
