Pattern 22: how ADJ cl

The adjective follows how and is followed by a finite clause. This pattern is used when talking about someone else's view of something.
I was so pleased to hear how delicious you found our Italian dinner party and hope you continue to enjoy our recipes.
Yesterday's stories about the latest sad chapter in Jamie's life illustrate just how difficult his father found it to protect his eldest son from the pressures of life.
