The 'comparison' group
These nouns are used when indicating what something is being compared with or what it is connected with.
in comparison (with/to ...) in connection with ... in contradiction to ... in contrast (to/with ...) in reference to ... in regard to ... in relation to ... in respect of ... in this regard
We spent hours poring over travel brochures. Choosing the wedding dress was easy in comparison.
Seven people were being questioned by Customs officers in connection with the seizure of £2m worth of heroin at Manchester airport.
Women were seen as better suited than men to charity work because they had moral qualities men lacked. They were often likened to the clergy in this regard.
